Plug-o-Gram
Wednesday evening 3-28, I’m part of a panel discussion called “What to Make of Starchitecture [and who to blame for it].” Scheduled participants include a number of British imports — Jonathan Glancey of the Guardian, Rowan Moore of the Architecture Foundation and Jeremy Melvin of The Architectural Review — and my fellow Brooklynite and Metropolis column-buddy Philip Nobel. First question: Why blame? Perhaps we should be assigning credit. Perhaps we should be singing praise and compiling Billboard style charts. Check out the Forum for Urban Design’s website for more information.
